3Delight For Maya is our plug-in for Maya users wishing to create high quality work that is sometimes difficult to achieve using Maya’s internal renderer. The plug-in was designed to be easy to use for Maya artists as well as provide the necessary power and flexibility for the more demanding production environments. Users can rapidely experience the power of the 3Delight renderer in their projects thanks to HyperShade support, complete geometry support and direct rendering to Maya’s render view. Advanced features include multi-pass work-flow, RIB output, MEL RenderMan® binding, multiple output variables, photon mapping, etc …This tool has already a wealth of production experience and has been used with success in productions such as X-Men 3, Chronicles of Narnia and Fantasic Four. Rendering Features Two Render Modes Both direct rendering in Maya (including rendering into Maya’s render view) and RIB export are supported. Direct rendering is useful in normal lighting and rendering work while RIB export can be used for render farm rendering. RIBs exported by 3Delight For Maya are optimized for size and can be written in compressed binary form. HyperShade and RenderMan Shaders Support Both RenderMan shaders and Maya’s HyperShade nodes can be assigned to objects. HyperShade nodes are automatically converted into human-readable SL code and compiled for rendering. New HyperShade nodes can easily be added by providing 3Delight For Maya with their SL code. Motion Blur and Depth of Field Multi-Segment motion blur and realistic camera shutter simulation contribute to high quality rendered images. Compared to other rendering software, motion blur in 3Delight For Maya is fast. Depth of field is fully supported and simulates a realistic camera bokeh. High Quality Anti-AliasingEdge anti-aliasing, motion blur and depth of field quality are all controlled using very simple and predictable controls. “Pixel Samples”, “Pixel Filter” and “Filter Width” are the most common parameters one needs to know. Contrary to other rendering packages, such as ray tracers, increasing pixel samples for higher quality anti-aliasing does not affect performance significantly. Geometric Displacements Displacements are efficiently rendered to sub-pixel accuracy. Hypershade displacement shaders as well as RenderMan shaders can be assigned to geometry. ShadowsBoth ray tracing and shadow maps can be used to render shadows. Shadow maps can be rendered in “deep” mode for realistic shadows in hair and fur. Additionally, 3Delight For Maya can automatically generate “cube shadow maps” for point lights. Contrary to other rendering packages, cube shadow maps are not stored as six separate shadow maps but in one special shadow map. Ray Tracing Reflections and refractions are accurately rendered. Global Illumination Photon maps, caustics, final gathering and image based lighting are supported. Subsurface Scattering Automatic subsurface scattering can be enabled on a per-object basis and delivers impressive results, fast. Workflow 3Delight For Maya offers a multi-pass rendering workflow that is suitable for production work. “Render Passes” can be used to render different components of a scene (as in “Render Layers” or to render different lighting characteristics of a scene (such as diffuse, specular or ambient occlusion). In short, a render pass can define the following parameters (please refer to the User’s Manual for a thorough description): Camera and quality options Render mode. Either direct render or RIB export. Objects to render. Maya sets can be used to define groups of objects to render in a given pass. The default is to render all objects in the scene. Light sources to render. Maya sets can be used to define the light sources that are used. The default is to use all light sources. Clipping planes to use. A 3Delight For Maya clipping plane can cut space in any desired direction to clip away geometry. Clipping is performed at sub-pixel accuracy and can be used, for example, to cut an object in two.Additionally, a given render pass can use a certain “shader collection.” This means that objects can have different shaders assigned to them, depending on the pass being rendered. The User’s Manual provides more information about this unique feature. Note that one could simply use one render pass for the more traditional one layer rendering. Supported Geometry Maya Hair and Paint Effects Rendered using 3Delight’s efficient `RiNuCurves’ primitive. Polygons All types of polygons, including those with holes, are supported. Additionally, polygonal geometry can be tagged as a subdivision surface and rendered as such. NURBS (Maya surfaces)All NURB surfaces are supported. Trim curves on surfaces are also fully supported and rendered to sub-pixel accuracy. All surfaces are rendered smooth.Hierarchical Subdivision SurfacesFully supported, including both creasing and partial creasing on edges and vertices as well as per-level UV sets. As always, all hierarchical subdivisions are rendered smooth and to sub-pixel accuracy. Particles “Point”, “blobby”, “sphere” and “patch” particles are supported. “Point” particles are rendered using 3Delight’s efficient lightweight particle primitive. Curves.Maya curves can be tagged as renderable on a per object basis and rendered using 3Delight’s RiNuCurves primitive.Additionally, UV sets, texture reference objects and normals (if any) are correctly assigned to all primitives. Configurability and Flexibility As with all serious production tools, 3Delight For Maya has been designed with flexibility in mind. In fact, no other rendering plug-in on the market achieves the same balance between integration and configurability. We implemented most of the RenderMan interface in MEL, which means that you can call RenderMan commands in your MEL scripts. Other packages mainly provide “RIB boxing” capability. 3Delight For Maya was written mostly using the MEL RenderMan interface which means that one can modify it at will. Only core functionalities have been programmed in C++ for performance reasons. Import and Export Output Formats 3Delight For Maya can save rendered images in many file formats, including: TIFF, IFF, OpenEXR, cineon, bmp, sgi, softimage and PSD. Input Formats Maya’s textures used in HyperShade shaders are automatically converted to 3Delight “.tdl” textures. When using RenderMan shaders, 3Delight’s texture converter (tdlmake) can be used to convert the most common images formats to “.tdl” textures. HDR Images tdlmake can convert high dynamic range probes (both normal and “twofish” probes) images into environment maps suitable for image based lighting. 3Delight 8.5 and 3Delight for Maya 4.5 released This release includes support for RSL 2.0 (shader objects and co-shaders) and further ray-tracing optimizations that should give significant performance gains when rendering displacements and motion-blur. 3Delight for Maya includes a new relationship editor to quickly explore and assign shaders and attributes as well as new “edge rounding” features to easily bevel edges on polygonal geometry.

Requirements and Procedures to be observed before installing a BitDefender 2010 product:

The following guidelines have been drafted by the undersigned based on the feedback submitted by Warez-BB members when installing BitDefender 2010 products. Therefore, reporting your experience regarding BitDefender 2010 products, either positive or negative, shall be highly appreciated.

Quote:

1) BitDefender 2010 products require a medium to powerful PC to run smoothly. Recommended system requirements for running them are the following: •Windows XP SP2, Vista, Windows 7 •Intel CORE Duo (1.66 GHz) or more powerful processor •RAM: 1 GB (Windows XP and Windows 7) 1.5 GB (Windows Vista) 2) Choose the suitable BitDefender 2010 product which is compatible with your Operative System, i.e.: BitDefender 32 bits for 32 bits Operative Systems or BitDefender 64 bits for 64 bits Operative Systems. 3) Have the appropriate NET.Framework which is suitable for your Operative System installed in your PC before installing BitDefender 2010. This is required to run the patch by BOX 3.0A. If you want to determine that the appropriate NET.Framework is already installed in your PC, Go to Control Panel => Add or remove programs => Check there which NET.Framework you have installed. After installing NET.Framework restart your PC. 4) You cannot have two antiviruses (AV) installed at the same time. So if you are going to install a BitDefender 2010 product you must uninstall the AV you currently have, including old BitDefender versions or any BitDefender 2010 which you may have installed and found it is not working due to the fact that you have applied a different registration procedure from the one described in this post (search for and delete any traces of BitDefender and Softwin in your HDD and in your Windows registry). It isn’t enough to disable the current antivirus because there could be AV or Firewall services running in the background which could impair the correct installation of the new BitDefender. After uninstalling the old AV, restart your PC. 5) Windows Firewall must be disabled. After disabling it, restart your PC or in case of BitDefender Internet Security or Total Security, let BitDefender do it for you (tick the corresponding box when installing it). If you are going to install BitDefender Antivirus 2010 after its installation, patching and first update, it is recommended to re-enable Windows Firewall and adjust its settings to allow BitDefender to go into the net to perform futures updates. 6) Uninstall any other third party software which may conflict with the future services to be rendered by BitDefender (firewall, antispyware, antispam, etc.). After uninstalling such software, restart your PC. 7) Windows Defender (Microsoft AntiSpyware) must be uninstalled and/or disabled. After uninstalling and/or disabling it, restart your PC. In case of Windows Vista and Windows 7, disable User Account Control UAC). After disabling UAC, restart your PC. 9) After having made the above adjustments but before installing the chosen BitDefender 2010 product, don’t forget to create a restore point which can be useful in case anything may go wrong with BitDefender installation and/or its future operation. by Pervinox

BitDefender 2010 – Installation and Patching Instructions:

Though the Installation and Patching Instructions are within the patch (click the “Read Me” button) and which you must read carefully and strictly follow before applying the patch, I have adapted and rephrased them for your easiest understanding as follows:

Installation and Patching Instructions for BitDefender 2010 Products: 1. Install your BitDefender 2010 product but {DO NOT RESTART YOUR COMPUTER}. (If already installed, then see Note A below.) 2. Run and execute the Patch by clicking the “Year 2047″ button and once patching has been finished then {RESTART YOUR COMPUTER}. 3. Adjust your BitDefender 2010 product settings, update it and you are done. Afterwards and at your convenience, you may conduct a full scan of your computer but bear in mind that for a not newly formated PC the scanning may take a long time. 4. If at a later stage you want to remove the effects of the Patch from your Bitdefender 2010 product, you must disable first the antivirus protection of your BitDefender product and then run the patch again but on this occasion just click the “Uninstall” button. Said manoeuvre will convert the BitDefender 2010 product back to a 30-day trial version. It is worth pointing out that you must eliminate the effects of the patch first and then restart the computer before uninstalling your BitDefender 2010 product itself. If you don’t proceed as above, BitDefender will generate a bug report which nevertheless will not affect your PC at all. NOTE A: If any BitDefender 2010 product is already installed and you want to patch it, you have two possible ways to proceed: (i) you must disable the antivirus protection of your BitDefender product and then run and execute the Patch; or (ii) run and execute the Patch in Windows Safe Mode (F8) using an Administrator account. Shouldn´t you succeed with the previous procedures, then you have to uninstall your BitDefender 2010 product and repeat the steps 1) to 3) above. BitDefender AntiVirus Emergency Rescue CD:

BitDefender Rescue CD is capable to scan and disinfect all existing hard drives before your operating system starts.

You should use BitDefender Rescue CD any time your operating system is not working properly because of virus infections. That usually happens when you don’t use properly your antivirus product or it is not adequately configured.

The update of the virus signatures is made automatically, without user intervention each time you start the BitDefender Rescue CD and there is an available Internet connection.

BitDefender Rescue CD is a BitDefender re-mastered Knoppix distribution, which integrates the latest BitDefender for Linux security solution into the GNU/Linux Knoppix Live CD, offering a desktop antivirus which can scan and disinfect existing hard drives (including Windows NTFS partitions). It doesn’t require a key or registration to use it.

At the same time, BitDefender Rescue CD can be used to restore your valuable data when you cannot boot Windows. You can also save files to your pendrive with this CD. However when you use a pendrive it’s advisable to use an empty one because there is a high chance that it may corrupt your existing files in the pendrive because the Rescue CD is based on a Linux distribution.

Install:
- Download and extract using WinRAR.
- Use NERO to burn the ISO image called 2compare_windows_on_your_desktop.Ultimate.ENG.x86-x64.ACTiVATED”
- Burning speed should not be faster than 4x. Otherwise, it might not work.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure you’ve seleceted your DVD-ROM/RW drive as a first boot device

* Enter the BIOS pressing the DEL button, set the option, insert your Windows 7 installation and restart computer.
- The black screen will appear .
- Press any key to boot from CD or DVD…. (by pressing the key you’re entering the setup)
- Select your language, time and currency and keyboard input (optionaly)
- Click install now
- Choose your edition (x86 is 32-bit, x64 is 64-bit) depending of CPU type you have.

*Choose x64 if you have 64-bit processor.
- Click “I accept”.
- Click “Custom (advanced).
- Choose your partition/hdd drive where Win7 should be installed and click format.

*You might get some error if you have two or more hard disks with different connectors (ATA and SATA).
If you get an error, turn off one of your hard disks and repeat the whole proces.
- After formatting, setup will continue automaticly and it will finish after 15-30 min.
- Next step would be username .
- Type your password (if you want).
- When you get the screen for CD-KEY just ignore it leaving blank.

*Uncheck the box for automaticly activation and click next.
- Choose the third option for next step.
- Select your time zone.
- Select your current location (Home is recommended).
- The black CMD windows will appear. Wait a few seconds until computers restares once again.
- And that would be all about installation. You’re in Windows now.

Activation:
It’s not required, because it’s OEM. Windows will be premanently activated.
